At 0934 hours Box 26-53 Level # 2 was struck for the reported chimney fire at a residence on George Washington Road.  WAFCO units along with Engine 17-63 (LFD) Engine 47-62 (SVFC), Tender 48 (AVFC) and Ric 21 (RTFC) were dispatched on the initial alarm. Chief 17 arrived on-scene minutes later, established command and reported a heavy smoke condition. Crews operated on-scene for over an hour extinguishing the fire which was contained in the chimney. Finding no extension crews were returned to service at approx 1105 hrs.
